Ketamine Therapy

How KAP Works

Five sessions. One guide, present the whole way.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, from your first consult to your last integration session — here’s exactly what happens, in order.

Most clients notice a shift in symptoms within 2–4 sessions.

The path, start to finish

1

Initial consultation

A free 15-minute call, then a full evaluation with our medical team to confirm you’re eligible. If you qualify, a small starter supply of oral ketamine is sent to your home — enough for your first two sessions.

2

Preparation session

A regular therapy session before your first dosing session, focused on setting intentions and understanding exactly what to expect.

3

Dosing session

2–3 hours, guided in real time by your clinician — in person or by telehealth. You’re never dosing alone.

4

Integration session

We meet again to make sense of what came up — the memories, thoughts, and insights — and to prepare for your next session.

5

Ongoing follow-up

Our medical team checks in regularly to monitor your progress and manage refills, for as long as treatment continues.

Common questions

What is ketamine-assisted psychotherapy?

A low dose of ketamine, combined with real-time psychotherapy, used to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, and burnout. It works differently than talk therapy alone — the medicine helps loosen rigid thought patterns so the therapeutic work can reach further, faster.

How is it administered?

Ketamine lozenges, dissolved under the tongue, in a session you’re guided through by a licensed clinician from start to finish — not a self-administered dose with a check-in after.

Is it safe?

Yes, when it’s screened and guided the way we do it: a medical provider clears you first, and a licensed psychotherapist is present by video for the entire dosing session. See our full safety breakdown on the Is It Safe? page.

What does a session feel like?

Most people describe a sense of distance from their usual thought loops — calmer, more open, sometimes emotional. Mild disorientation during the session is common and temporary.

Is it covered by insurance?

Coverage varies by plan. We’ll help you understand your options on your free consult call — see our pricing page for current rates.
